چکیده

The impact of different co-catalytically acting promoters (Pt, ZrOx and SmOx) during COx methanation was investigated on alumina supported Co-based model catalysts. To obtain samples with identical structure morphology independent the presence type promoter added, double flame spray pyrolysis employed for synthesis, which, in contrast to classical catalyst preparation techniques, allows controlling separating particle formation processes components. In this way, differently promoted unpromoted catalysts size distributions dispersions could be synthesized study co-catalytic effects isolation. For CO2 methanation, all led improved yields long-term activities within whole temperature range as compared catalyst. Among them, zirconia platinum performed best. case CO a beneficial influence studied also verified – Pt showing best results. Yet, deactivated rapidly above 310 °C, limiting their usability lower temperatures.

Selectivity Enhancement by Using Double-Layer MOX-Based Gas Sensors Prepared by Flame Spray Pyrolysis (FSP)

Here we present a novel concept for the selective recognition of different target gases with a multilayer semiconducting metal oxide (SMOX)-based sensor device. Direct current (DC) electrical resistance measurements were performed during exposure to CO and ethanol as single gases and mixtures of highly porous metal oxide double- and single-layer sensors obtained by flame spray pyrolysis. The re...

Experimental characterization of the Double Flame Spray Pyrolysis Process based on the deposition of Pt on a TiO2 support

Flame Spray Pyrolysis (FSP) is a well investigated high temperature aerosol technique for synthesizing nano-sized metal oxide catalysts of almost all metals and transition metals by gas-to-particle conversion (Teoh et al. 2010). However, specific designs of multi-component catalysts and the controlled dispersion of catalytic material on the support are limited with this approach. Double Flame S...

Structural and electrical properties of In-doped vanadium oxide thin films prepared by spray pyrolysis

The In-doped vanadium pentoxide nanostructures with different doping levels including 0, 10, 20 and 30 at.% were prepared by the spray pyrolysis technique. The prepared thin films were characterized by the x-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The XRD results revealed that the films were crystalline in tetragonal phase. Increasing the In-doping level made the structure...

Cubic or monoclinic Y2O3:Eu nanoparticles by flame spray pyrolysis

Monocrystalline cubic and/or monoclinic Y2O3:Eu nanoparticles (10-50 nm) were synthesized continuously without post-processing by single-step flame spray pyrolysis (FSP). These particles were characterized by Xray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption (BET) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Photoluminescence (PL) emission was measured as well as the time-resolved PL-intensity decay. ...

Electrical Properties of CZO Films Prepared by Ultrasonic Spray Pyrolysis

CuZnO (CZO) films have attracted increasing amounts of attention due to their promising potential applications in semiconductor devices. ZnO shows n-type conductivity, and attempts have been made to dope several elements in ZnO to improve the electrical properties. This study investigated the electrical property transitions of CZO films and determined the copper concentration at which the condu...
